If you are logging in with Facebook, try logging into Facebook first, then go back to Liveplate and click “log in with Facebook.” If you set up an account, and forgot your password, click the “Forgot Password” link. Email us at info@Liveplate.com for other issues.

Chatting within an Event or Cookalong - if prompted, upgrade to Adobe Flash 11, for best video performnace. You can download the latest version of Adobe Flash here.

Not streaming video: check and make sure camera is turned on. Right click on any video chat window, and when the box pops up, check Allow Camera.

If that doesn't work, make sure you are not using your camera with Skype, iChat, Facebook chat.

Not streaming audio: check and make sure camera is turned on. Right click on any video chat window, and when the box pops up, check Allow Microphone.

Click Add a Recipe from the Recipe Library. Complete the fields. Put one direction per line. Upload a picture if you like.

From My Recipes or the Recipe Library, click on the recipe you wish to edit. A screen will pop up which allows you to change ingredients, instructions, photos, or upload a video.
Note: you can only edit your OWN recipes. However, you can comment or post a variation to others’ recipes in the comments section.

All fields are optional. Click on My Profile and add any information you would like to share with friends. You may want to share the type of cooking you enjoy, your favorite cuisines, or your cooking experience.

Liveplate supports the following browsers. We suggest upgrading to later versions of Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Internet Explorer if you are on an older version.

• Internet Explorer versions 7.0 and 8.0 (not 6.0)
• Safari 4.0 and 5.0 (including windows version)
• Firefox 4.0 and 3.6
• Chrome 11.0

Internet Explorer 6 is NOT supported; as in many websites running streaming videos it is extremely difficult to configure to support this older version. We strongly suggest upgrading to version 7.0 or 8.0.
